Here I am starting the New Year and a new blog and I’m sick! Ugh! I rarely get sick, but my little nose is alternating between running like an open faucet and being plugged. My throat is sore and I can barely speak. I pray to get over this by Sunday, because I am really excited about the Family Festival emphasis we have planned.
Speaking of not being at 100%, Cheryl continues to recover from her surgery in early December and is making good progress. She was back at church for the first time Sunday. We really appreciate those who have asked about her and prayed for her. Some of the pastors wives even brought over meals the first week she was out of the hospital. Yummy!
Join me each day as I share what's bouncing around in my head and heart. I wish I had time to sit down with each of you over a good cup of coffee, but at least we can thank God for blogs! Oh! I'll take the coffee, too, whenever I can!
