As a student of missions nothing excites me more than learning about culture and different groups of people around the world. After all, we call our church, KCBT, a church for all peoples. So, you can understand my unbridled excitement at having made contact with a people group previously unknown to me. They have no specific geographical abode, but rather inhabit what is known as cyberspace. They are bloggers.

When I started this web log (blog) last week I had no idea what I was getting into. My youngest daughter and her husband, Brian and Rebekah Herzog, are avid bloggers. I innocently send an e-mail to Rebekah to let her know her dad was blogging. Her response was almost as though I had experienced some sort of religious conversion. Quickly, she began to “disciple” me in the realm of the blogoshpere. Since I have no idea what I’m doing, I am certain to benefit from her loving coaching.
