[Notice: I am having grave computer problems and will post as and if I can. If you don’t hear from me, I’ll bring you up to date when I get home and get a working computer.]

Have you ever thought it would be glamorous to go on a mission trip with Jeff? Now, through the wonder of technology, I can blog you all along with me. You want to talk glamour? Well, after sitting all afternoon at KCI waiting for a window in the ice storm and short night in an airport hotel, a train ride to north of Atlanta and back, I finally boarded my flight to Buenos Aires, taking off a little before 9:00pm. It was as decent a flight as a ten hour coach flight on a full plane can be. Glamour? Grimy and stubbly, I stumbled off the plane about 9:00am in Buenos Aires, three hours ahead of KC time. I’m typing these words as I drink a cappuccino in a little spot here at the airport and catch my breath. Since at least half the population of Argentina is of Italian ancestry, this is a safe place for a cappuccino. This is a no taco zone!

Shortly, I will start the two-hour journey to the other airport on the other side of the city. Think arriving at JFK and having to transfer to Newark. If all goes well, I will arrive in Córdova around 5:30 or 6:00pm this evening. By the way, it’s the hottest part of summer here right now. The temperature here in BA is expected to be around 90. Glamour?
