Let me share a neat thought from a new friend, Lucas Leys, an Argentine youth specialist now living in the States. He was another of the speakers this week. We always talk about people being able to see Jesus in us. Lucas took us to Matthew 25:31-46 where Jesus said we do unto “the least of these” as we do unto Him. The idea is that we minister to the poor and needy because we should see Jesus in them! He developed the thought very well, and it was a good way to give a different twist to a cliché — seeing Jesus in others.

This morning I am doing something strange for me. In fact, I can’t remember the last time I did this. But, I am going to go to church where no one knows me (I hope) and no one knows I am coming. I read about this church in a nationwide Christian newspaper. It has just celebrated its one hundredth anniversary making it one of the oldest Baptist churches in Argentina. I scoped it out yesterday. Then, it’s back to the hotel to check out, hang around for bit until time to go to the airport and head home. I’m ready! I’ll make it back to Kansas City around noon tomorrow if all goes well.
