I Believe Trust and Faith do go hand in hand. I love how you point out some of how the Lord "Paints a picture using a real life parable!" The Author of the Bible (Scriptures) is God and it is interesting to me and a huge Faith builder to see how the Lord sets up parts of the Story through events or prophesy to prove that only God as the Author of the Story could possibly create, Pen or speak into Creation. I somehow quit obeying because of some pressure I felt driving me, that had little to do with Him. Some how he has revealed himself to me and now it is like you said free and natural. I used to think it would always be this struggle to live this obedient life out of some obligation to Him. But, now, It just seems obvious because of who he is to follow him. He is so good!! It seriously blows my mind!! I love this verse Dt 5:29- O that there were such a heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children forever! He wants it to be well with us and our children! 4-ever!! I am so glad he is good. He didn't have to be. Thanks for that post! I have always wanted to believe that song was true.
