I’m tired, but very grateful and satisfied. I just flew in from Cordoba and checked into a hotel. I ran down the street and gobbled up a yummy empanada. Very nice. Tomorrow night I head home and arrive around noon on Friday.

The time with CEC in Cordoba was beyond my expectations, and my expectations were high. The leadership team is very excited about taking biblical discipleship and the Directions book into the churches in over 5 countries in this area of the world. They have a team already thinking through their training strategy. They expect the first copies of Directions to roll off the press here in Argentina just a little over three weeks from now.

I continue to be impressed with the quality of this team. They truly have their act together. This is just another reminder that we live in a new world. Those of us from the United States no longer have all the answers (never did! We just thought we did). We have so much to leearn from each other. If we can learn to work together there is no limit to what we can trust God to do.

It’s late and I’m tired. I’ll try to catch you up on some of the happenings later. Goodnight!

  1. Dear Pastor Jeff:

I’m praising the Lord!!!! After I read that the book DIRECTIONS will be soon in Spanish will open our ministry Iglesia Biblica de Broward a lot of doors for our church and all the churches that we are planting in America. I just came a few weeks ago from the Amazon Jungle in Peru. We planted a new church in Pucallpa. Iglesia Biblica El Camino and we equipped around 32 pastors & leaders with some lesson of the DISCEPLISHIP II. Now the only Bible Institute in the jungle is expecting from me more DISCIPLESHIP materials in SPANISH.

It’s a really a great news for me. We have opens door to plant churches and equip leaders in Ecuador, Bolivia( we planted & adopted 3 churches in Santa Cruz), Venezuela, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Argentina,Peru & Paraguay.

It’s my prayer that we can encourage them thru a GOOD DISCIPLESHIP material. And for more than 17 years, I used yours.

Please, as soon as you have it available, let me know to order it.

    Good bless in Argentina! Che!!!

  2. Gracias, Martin!! Direcciones has been available in Spanish since last year and you can get it through our bookstore in either English or Spanish. What is new here is that it will be printed and distributed in Argentina. They are putting a new cover on it to identify with their ministry, but will have our contact information as well so that we can also use it as we have occasion to work with churches. They will also be working with churches and doing training in making disciples. That’s why I was there — to train them to train others. It’s very cool!

By the way, CEC also has much work in Bolivia. Maybe they can be a good contact for you. I’ve blogged about my relationship with this group several times, but you can check out this particular post that will link you to their website where you can see more about them and their contact information. http://drjeffadams.com/wp-admin/post.php?action=edit&post=728.

  3. Pastor Jeff:

  4. Pastor Jeff:

I did click on the link. They asked me to update my profile. What I do now? I’m sorry I’m not too familiar with this.

  5. Martin, I don’t know what it means to update the profile. Try their main site — http://www.elcec.org.
