My son-in-law Brian sent me a link today that he knew I would love. I do! The video is available on YouTube, but I thought Michael Hyatt’s commentary on the video was as excellent as the short video. Don’t miss this!

I also linked to this on my FaceBook, but some of you won’t see it there. Of course you could always friend me. :-)

Where did the idea come from that Christians after the Great Throne of Judgement that the earth would over populate and the Christians would rule over the Jews on their (the Christians) own planets? Thank you.

Huh? Sorry, but I’m not sure I even understand your question, much less what it has to do with this post.

Sorry, my fault. I should have posted this question elsewhere. Thank you for the response.

After looking on this forum it says, “Guest Post.” I wrongfully thought is was an open post and not pertaining to the previous post. My question was pertaining to a belief that came from a Shepherd School graduate. How could one get this answered? Thank you.

Dear DC, I didn’t mean to be dismissive of your question, but since you are persistent and ask nicely … :-) let me elaborate a bit. I simply meant to say that this is not a Q&A forum. My difficulty in attempting to answer your question is in understanding it. This is not judgmental of your question, but merely to say that it appears something got lost in the translation. Here’s my best attempt to point you in the right direction.

First of all, passages such as Isaiah 9:6-7 imply that once God’s kingdom is established on earth it will be ever expanding. Perhaps this is because the Book of Revelation says that death will be no more and access to the tree of life once again is open (Rev 22). There are MANY questions about the details of these passages and what this will be like. It appears that not everyone on earth is killed in the years of tribulation, and If they continue to marry and reproduce and have access to the tree of life, overpopulation could become a reality quickly! All of this is speculation and not the clear, direct teaching of scripture. This is not to say it is false, but neither is it written in stone.

Deuteronomy 4:19 says that the greater universe exists for the peoples of the earth. Romans 8 says that all creation has been affected by sin. Once the finality of Christ’s finished work on the Cross has become fulfilled in the coming Kingdom, it would make sense that the entire universe would figure in the Creator’s great plan. Just how that shakes out is, again, fun to speculate about, but not clearly spelled out.

As to the part of your question that has Christians ruling over Jews on their own planets, or something like that – I have no idea. That’s a new one for me. Here are some thoughts that might have provoked such an idea, though I think there is some misunderstanding either in what was said or understood. In Matthew 18 Jesus said that his Twelve would one day sit on 12 thrones judging over the 12 tribes of Israel. That would seem to contradict what you mention in your question. However, just what this really means that the Twelve will rule over the 12 tribes of Israel is still very much an open question. Passages such as 2Timothy 2:12 say that as believers in Christ we will rule with him. But, what that actually involves is also still to be determined in detail.

The same passage in Revelation 22 that speaks of the Tree of Life also says that it will bear 12 types of fruit and that the leaves will be for the salvation of the peoples. Deuteronomy 32:8 makes a cryptic statement about God having divided the peoples (nations) according the the number (12) of Israel Does that have anything to do with the Twelve ruling over Israel? Does it have anything to do with believers ruling with Christ? I’m sure it probably does, but all of the above is a compilation of difficult verses open to further examination. Speculating about future events based on prophetic passages in the bible can make for hours of conversation, but I again emphasize that we much be careful to divide what is simply speculation from what is the clear teaching (doctrine) of scripture.

Not knowing what you heard, who said it, or in what context, I am afraid that this is about as good I can do. hope this helps. Blessings!

My apologies to the originator of the is post and my thanks to Dr. Adams for his detailed and gracious response. It is healing from a personal standpoint that this anti-Semitic doctrine is not promoted here.

The context is that a young couple was taught this at the beginning stages of D-1. Circles were drawn with their names therein to illustrate the planets that they would rule. The instructor then proceeded to teach that they would rule over the Jews, their children and their children’s children. “Maybe your planets could be next to each other?”, stated the instructor. They immediately questioned this and then left this religious system after council. After leaving, they inquired to the group leader of where in the Bible does it state this. He defended the instructor and stated that no answers would be given because they chose to leave the group.

My wife and I were unaware of this hidden teaching until we had left the system ourselves at a later time. Former members came out of the woodwork to minister to us after we had left. One of them was this dear and devout couple. We would have not believed this either if we hadn’t seen it with our own eyes. They were told that this was taught in D-2.

There are splinter groups from all religions and systems. People are free to believe and promote what they wish. Thank you for concluding my search.

It is now a time of forgiveness and thankfulness to the Almighty.  You have my respect and I truly wish to you and yours, a good life.

      With blessings,

      DC

Oh my! Now I see why you were concerned and now I understand much better your question. I’m glad this exchange has been helpful and healing to you. You are quite right that there are always splinter groups and worse. Personally, I have enough to do just trying to live by the clear teaching of the Bible that is right there on the surface without trying to discover hidden messages and codes that no one else sees. Blessings to you!
