Has to be on the list. Aixios, already mentioned, is a personal fav and I've taken a fair number of guests there over the years. Excellent. Avenues Bistro? Another personal treasure. Love it and have also taken guests there for a KC experience. The new place in Mission Farms is wonderful and beautiful, but I'd probably still take most guests to the original in Brookside just for the complete package of the Brookside experience. Thai Place Westport? I've got to check it out. Hear it's good. So many good places! So little time and money.  Pot Pie indeed! Has to be on the list. Peach Tree is a peach! I only wish they would have made it in the 18th and Vine Jazz District or downtown. That would be a sweet spot! The original is home cooking deluxe and a great place to get a running start on a heat attack, but location is part of the package and I'd love a bit more of an urban setting for guests - or at least interesting. But, I'm thinking guests and conversation as part of the package. Not sure this is the best place for conversation, though any pizza fan would not care. Also, the neighborhood meets my criteria as Waldo is true funky.NOw, I've got to get back and try the jalapeno bacon cream cheese on cheddar. OMG!
